About the project:
The project will activate and improve safety at the precinct in Labuan Square, Norlane by installing:
- toilets
- landscaping works
- smart poles
- CCTV
- lights
- a play sculpture
- a fountain, and
- furniture.

Organisation: Benalla Rural City Council
Project: Lighting the Lake
Grant funding: $286,799
About the project:
The project will install lighting and activate the:
- Lake Benalla walking track
- Botanic Gardens
- library, and
- skate park precinct.
This will be done through community-led initiatives, to improve perceptions of safety and deter vandalism and anti-social behaviour.

Project: Rio Vista Park Space Activation - Lock 11 Amenity Upgrade
Grant funding: $268,431
About the project:
The project will install lighting, new toilet facilities, landscaping and CCTV at Rio Vista Park in Mildura to be complemented by public activities and events to prevent crime and improve perceptions of public safety.

The project will install lights, activation equipment and landscaping at the Fawkner Community Hub/CB Smith Reserve to be complemented by a range of free public events and engagement activities in the park.

Project: Little Africa Precinct Renewal

About the project:
The project will combine the design and installation of LED decorative lighting and the creative activation of the street and empty shop fronts in 'Little Africa' in Footscray. This is to:
- address graffiti and anti-social behaviour, and
- improve safety and support economic revitalisation.
South East Metropolitan

Organisation: Greater Dandenong City Council
Project: A Community Engagement and Partnership Approach to Improve Hemmings Street Precinct Safety
Grant funding: $219,000
About the project:
The project will implement a community-led infrastructure and activation project in the Hemmings Street Precinct of Dandenong incorporating CCTV, improved lighting, landscaping, streetscape upgrades and community engagement events to improve safety and perceptions of safety.

Project: Safer Foreshore Hubs in Kingston
Grant funding: $300,000
About the project:
The project will install CCTV and deliver a community safety campaign and engagement events at activity precincts in Mordialloc, Chelsea and Carrum to increase feelings of safety, public confidence and reduce crime.​

Project: Sandfield Reserve Youth Space - Safety Through Diversity

- deter vandalism and anti-social behaviour.

Project: Revitalisation of Greg Clydesdale Square, Cranbourne
Grant funding: $300,000
About the project:
The project will incorporate a co-design approach to designing and installing innovative:
- lighting
- artwork, and
- amenity improvements.
The aim is to activate the Greg Clydesdale Square area and encourage community ownership and perceptions of safety.

Project: Belgrave South - Create, Protect, Love
Grant funding: $300,000
About the project:
The project involves infrastructure works to an under-utilised area of the Belgrave South Recreation Reserve. This will include lighting and creation of a youth space, through a Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) process with young people. The aim is to:
- reduce crime
- improve perceptions of safety
- encourage legitimate use.
